Tracklists.ca: Two For Two, Reviews In Review!
Written by Aaron Gray on Tuesday, 23 September 2008

Mind the tacky title, but this is wayyyyyyy overdue. You might recall that I like to point out the reviews we've done within the past month, but I let that slide for two months...Therefore, this update is chock-full of every review since Daniel Wanrooy's Dominica / Maybe Tomorrow! On another note, we also got the chance to interview two of our favorite Intuition artists: Kimito Lopez and Menno de Jong! And, on yet another note...We are still looking for another reviewer!

So, read on for a run-down on all of our work these past two (and a half) months!

Help us Welcome a new Staffer!
Written by alefort on Wednesday, 27 August 2008

The most astute of you might have noticed the latest Top 10 Chart was provided by a new alias on the site, a.q aka ken. Ken just recently joined our team of music addicts and will be helping out in many aspects of the site, mostly centered around content publishing and editing. Stay tuned for his top 10 Charts featuring DJs from around the world!

Take a minute or two to welcome him to the site, let's make him feel right at home! As a fun little game, let us know what the first thing that comes to mind is when you think of the name 'ken'.

Tracklists.ca: The Month in Review!

I say month, cause's it has been pretty much a month since the last update. This time around we've been rather busy; all the resident reviewers came out to play, and we saw the debut of our newest reviewer! Moreover, we scored an interview with legendary American DJ Christopher Lawrence(Again, many kudos to him for all his help...And his manager too!). At any rate, you can check out the interview here, and then you can read on past the break to see what has been cookin' in the Reviewers' Corner.

Here at Tracklists.ca, we love to shove our opinions down your throats. Heh, kidding :P

At any rate, we thought it would be a good idea to recap on any reviews that have popped up this week, and so here I am to do so...Little does Andre know that as he sleeps, I dominate the Reviews Section! Read past the break for links to my four most recent reviews (One of which is a rather famous, recently released compilation), or simply check out the Reviews section...I am sure there is something for everyone!

Should Polls be added to the website?

Should Polls be added to the website?
Should Polls be added to the website?

We're toying with the idea of adding polls to some of our News Items.  Why you ask?  Because we've always wanted to hear your lovely voices........yeah, that's it.

Regardless, we're wondering if you think it's worth the effort?  We think it could add an entirely new dimension to the site, let's call it the 4th dimension.  Be careful though, toying with the laws of physics, especially online, can be dangerous!

Feeling brave?  Then vote!

ImageWe've been running strong for the last 3 years, and we're not anywhere near done! However, we'll soon be expanding into other areas (top secret), and we're looking for other likeminded guys and gals to help out on the site.  If you've ever wanted to have your voice heard online, and love dance music, then we want YOU!  Tell us what you would like to do, and let us know what you want in return. We can't promise you godlike stardom, but who knows, we can probably swing demi-god status.

We included a few areas that we'd like some help in after the break, so if any of those tickle your fancy, be sure to let us know at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ! Tracklists.ca Gets a New Logo!
Written by alefort on Thursday, 15 May 2008
ImageIt's been a long time coming, but it's finally arrived!  After last december when we decided to re-do the entire layout of Tracklists.ca we ended up losing the old logo as it just didn't fit our new image.  That, and well, I made the old one and wasn't too hot...

Now we've got a new logo, designed by a local artist (Go Canada!), and we're very proud to unveil it!  Some of the more astute visitors may have noticed it in our page header, and if you look closelier you'll notice the TL within it symbolizing Tracklists.ca.  It's simple, got class and we just downright love it.

What do you think of the new logo....share your thoughts in the comments section.  If you're looking for a copy of the logo for promotional purposes, let us know.  We'll gladly send some over!
